let's say you run a website that hosts party invitations. why would you schedule maintenance for new year's eve? it's a holiday. that involves a lot of parties.
one of our friends was totally burned by this same problem...2 hours after i ran into it, and couldn't get the address of the party. you idiots are keeping cool people from attending my friends' new years bash! you run an invitation service and you really scheduled maintenance for new year's eve?!?
